A is for Ancestry Research

A is for Ancestry Research

Ancestry research is one of my favorite past times. I have searched for not only names of my ancestors, but for anything history related to them.

I have written a few articles about some of these ancestors. I have also written articles and longer articles submitted as a short ebook on various aspects of ancestry and ancestry research.

I just love finding things out about my own ancestors, as well as, my husband's family tree. The information I have found has been truly amazing on so many levels.

Timeline of William M. Brown in the Civil War is one of the articles I mentioned just a bit ago. This was a fun article to research and write about because of the aspect of American history he participated in.

Could you imagine finding out there was ancestor who was hung for  witchcraft? Would you be shocked? Take a guess what I found out. Just that. A Discovery of the Two Mary Barnes.

Now what can you find out about your ancestors?

  4. Hiya fellow A-Z blogger! Great start. My late mother and aunt put together a book about everything they researched from my paternal great, great grandmother's TWENTY-THREE children! It was hard work, but they enjoyed all of it.

How fascinating and scary too that you had an ancestor hung for witchcraft. Wow.
