O is for Occupational Hazards of Working From Home

Sure there are occupational hazards from working from home.

Annoying phone calls from everybody and their brother wanting a handout is one occupational hazard.

Goofing off more than you're working is another occupational hazard.

Everyone expecting you to drop your work to come running because you work from home. That seems to be the biggest of all occupational hazards.

Not enough time in the day to get the work done, spend time with family, and do the things you like doing ranks right up there with the hazard above.

Having writers block or lack of creativity to come up with things to write about daily to keep the money coming in is one of my biggest occupational hazards.

There are thousands of occupational hazards like this not including health related ones that plague those who work from home.

  2. I've experienced many of these hazards. Let's not forget people thinking you don't have a real job. Ugh. That pisses me off so bad!
