Writing For Associated Content

I have been writing for Associated Content since October, 2006. I enjoy writing about topics that I like.

My topics range from crafts to food to movies to music. Those aren't the only things I like to write about. I like to write about Deadliest Catch and celebrities as well.

In May, 2010, Associated Content was bought by Yahoo. If you have read Yahoo is dumping all of Associated Content's writers, this is not true. It was a mistake in the news of the sale. The final acquisition was to close in Quarter 4 not the Associated Content site.

NOTE: Anyone who signs up with Associated Content by Yahoo must be 18 years of age, fill out a W-9 upon reaching $500 in payments, and have a grasp of the English language. Blackhatters and plagiarists will be banned from Associated Content by Yahoo upon discovery.

Until earlier this year, international writers could write for pageview bonuses at Associated Content. Due to the stringent tax laws, Associated Content had to stop paying international writers on a pageview basis.

However, they have invited all international writers to join their Featured Contributor writers. By doing this, it allows international writers to still earn with Associated Content. If you live outside the United States and not a legal citizen living abroad, you can sign up with Associated Content by Yahoo, apply for a Featured Contributor category, and earn an extra income. (Be sure to read the Terms of Service of Associated Content by Yahoo when signing up and the Terms for applying for a Feature Contributor category.)

If you are a U.S. citizen, like myself, you can earn upfront payments, sign up for a Featured Contributor category, and earn with the pageview bonus program on Associated Content.

I will not be providing how much I earn a month because it is bad business to provide this type of information because results will vary from person to person. However, if you are willing to learn how to write for the web, write on topics that are popular and evergreen, you can earn a supplemental income with Associated Content by Yahoo.

The best thing about learning what I mentioned on writing for the web, you can learn for free at Associated Content. This can help you earn better upfront payments and pageview bonuses.
